Ryu Hayabusa
When going in depth with these characters on this site and channel, one starts to view them in a different angle than initially shown. The nuances start to come out and it puts them in a different light beyond their obvious abilities. Case in point: Ryu is not the most crafty or best at strategizing a plan of action. His bullish way of approaching situations generally puts him or others in harms way. Sure he may be noble but what’s nobility when you have a flaming demon ball in burrowing in your chest?
Fortunately, Ryu Hayabusa is incredible at being a ninja. His skill is unmatched and he wields an almost indestructible sword. He would be the perfect assassin once he gains a little bit more experience. Side note: After inquiring to one of the creators of Ninja Gaiden, they mentioned that Ryu is the color blue because that is one the team felt would be most vibrant for the character on the NES. Really cool, huh?
