James Bond

GOLDENEYE

James Bond

There are a lot of spies and a lot of action heroes to question here at A Question of Character. It’s just the nature of the platform. James proves himself to be more than capable at performing both of these abilities almost too much. Any man that can wield two rocket launchers and blast at the same time kind of straddles the line of spy agent and psychotic madman.

It’s interesting to see that James doesn’t feel the need to jump over anything. Or maybe it’s even more interesting that there is nothing for James to jump over. I believe in later titles that he finally finds the need for leaping but in Goldeneye his feet never leave the ground. Well, unless he falls off of 50,000 ft satellite structures.
